For 49 years, Karl has accumulated a wealth of lifetime experience across many practice areas: from divorces to agricultural law. Over the past decades, he’s aslo focused on mastering real estate, estate planning, and corporate law. Karl received his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1974. He commenced his legal career in Kingsville as a general practitioner at Karry, Salem, & Melinz. As the law firm grew, Karl was promoted to Legal Manager and Lawyer of the Harrow branch office around 1981. The Harrow office would later become Karl’s main headquarters around 1987. Karl served as Chairman of the Police Commission in the Town of Kingsville & acted as an elected member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village for over 20 years. He is a lifetime member and past president of the Lion Club of Kingsville and an active member of the Essex Law Association. Since childhood, Karl was involved in farming near and aroud border of Harrow and Kingsville where he milked cattle & preformed farming oporations until 1995. He still resides in the family homestead. In 2023, Karl was awarded the Distinguished level of honor for his many high-rated peer & client reviews as well as his high personal and professional achievements thoughout his life.
