For 49 years, Karl has accumulated a wealth of lifetime experience across many practice areas: from divorces to agricultural law. Over the past few decades, he’s focused on mastering real estate, estate planning, and corporate law. Karl received his LLB from the University of Windsor. He commenced his legal career in Kingsville as a general practitioner at Karry, Salem, & Melinz. As the law firm grew, Karl was promoted to Legal Manager and Lawyer of the Harrow branch office around 1981. The Harrow office would later become Karl’s solo practitioner headquarters in 1987. Karl served as Chairman of the Police Commission in the Town of Kingsville. He acted as an elected Board of Directors of the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village for 20 years. He is a lifetime member and past president of the Lion Club of Kingsville and an active member of the Essex Law Association. Karl was involved in farming near the border of Harrow and Kingsville where he started from a young age and until 1995. He still resides in the family homestead. In 2023, Karl was awarded the Distinguished level of honor for his high-rated peer reviews and high professional achievement.
